New Millicent Creevy Video

Hey all- it's cruch time here at Northwestern, and I'm busy working on my final scripts, projects and papers.

One of these is my final short film for my Intro Production class. You may remember Millicent Creevy from a couple months ago- the first film I made for the class, available a few entries downwards. Check it out if you haven't yet!

In order to replicate what is sure to be a fantastic in-class viewing experience today, make sure you have 2 glasses of wine before viewing...

See The Epic Tale of the Turn-In on Amy's Page...

Sneak Peek #7!

The first half is really just to set up the little puppet show in the second half. Also, here's an example of some of the awesome music Casey Bushmaker is writing for the film!

Warning: Swearing and implied drug use.

New Content!

It's just a little film I made for class (aw yeah goin to school for makin movies), but it's short wacky and crack-assed, so I figured it's perfect for the site!

Well, that and there hasn't been any new content since our trailers... We aim to upload new videos on a semi-regular basis, so I'm looking forward to school projects providing further content.

The assignment was to create a 10-shot narrative from dramatic situations we randomly drew- my scenario was Enemies-Fall-In-Love. So- enjoy one of hopefully numerous episodes in the life of Millicent Creevy, private investigator and occultist.

By the by, The Worm and the Poodle is entering final stages of post-production. It won't be done by Halloween, but I will be submitting an in-progress version to the WI Film Festival. I'll give y'all a week to enjoy Millicent, then I'll post another Worm/Poodle sneak peek- this time with music by the talented Casey Bushmaker.

But you'll just have to come back next week for that.

Two Trailers for the Price of One

As most of you know, both Amy and I have been striving to finish the two films we had planned for this year. Though post-production has been a serious "learning experience" for both projects (which is really just a nice way of saying "nearly-disastrous nightmare"), the films must go on! And we have proof--in the form of trailers. Take that, Life!

First, Disconnected.

Next, The Worm and The Poodle.

Spectacle: A Spinning Gyre/Anarch City Collaboration

So as many of our regular viewers know, The Spinning Gyre is a semi-sister company with a couple other performance groups in Madison. This month, we are collaborating with one of these groups, Anarch City Theatre, to produce a multimedia play that tells the story of a school shooting from several different points of view: the first is from the perspective of the shooter through her video diary entries, and the others are from two survivors looking back on the event several years later. The script was written by me (Sarah), and I have also been serving as the director of photography and editor of all video-related components, including the promotional piece below (also running as a commercial on WYOU, Madison's public access station).

Showtimes are 8/19, 8/20, and 8/21 at 8pm. For tickets and more information, visit www.anarchcity.com.
