New Video-- Party Rocking into Matrimony

Hey all. Here's a little something I made last week... a fun music video portion to a wedding video I made for Vince's brother Morey. The wedding itself was a long, oh, six months ago, but this is what happens when you're a grad student.

Anyway, LMFAO's "Party Rock" was sort of the unofficial anthem of the wedding festivities, so I wanted to incorporate the song somehow into their wedding video, so I followed up the actual ceremony with this. Enjoy.

Worm and Poodle screening scheduled

It's amazing how much you can get done when you're putting off writing. (Two full-length scripts, only due in... oh, two days, no biggie.)

More details and a fancy facebook event to come, but mark your calendars for the afternoon of Sunday May 13th at The High Noon Saloon in Madison. The screening will be extra fun as it'll be packaged with a SparkleFuck show-- two events, one night, you know you wanna go.

More info soon!

The Spinning Gyre's Television Debut!

So remember "A Fairly Normal Love Story," that short film we made last summer for the 48-Hour Film Project?

(here's a reminder if you don't)

Anyhoo, we were stoked and humbled to be presented with a few awards for it back in 2011 (honestly, I think it's that Lawrence Trivia taught us great time management) but now we have been informed that it's going to be featured on Wisconsin Public Television!

I'm not certain when it's going to be broadcast-- it's going to be on a program called Director's Cut, but it doesn't look like they have an official season schedule yet. We're even gonna get a check (like $100 split 2 ways, but hey, money for art!).

We'll give you guys more details as we learn them, but for now, I just had to share the excitement. It gives getting rejected from the WI Film Fest a little less sting. Hell, they weren't gonna pay us, so... better this way. :P

New Millicent Creevy Video

Hey all- it's cruch time here at Northwestern, and I'm busy working on my final scripts, projects and papers.

One of these is my final short film for my Intro Production class. You may remember Millicent Creevy from a couple months ago- the first film I made for the class, available a few entries downwards. Check it out if you haven't yet!

In order to replicate what is sure to be a fantastic in-class viewing experience today, make sure you have 2 glasses of wine before viewing...

See The Epic Tale of the Turn-In on Amy's Page...

Sneak Peek #7!

The first half is really just to set up the little puppet show in the second half. Also, here's an example of some of the awesome music Casey Bushmaker is writing for the film!

Warning: Swearing and implied drug use.
